This is a 9 year old single cask Tamdhu bottled by the Scottish Malt Whisky Society as cask no. 8.55, named Déjeuner Sur l'herbe. It was matured in a first fill ex-bourbon barrel and is bottled at a cask strength of 59.3% ABV. The style is fresh, fragrant, floral and energetic, built on Tamdhu's rich, malty spirit. The nose brings zingy fruit and honeycomb. The palate is sweet and creamy, with traces of nuts, spice and oak.
