Tamdhu Batch Strength is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky bottled at cask strength, in a 750ml bottle. The strength varies a little from one numbered batch to the next. It is matured entirely in first-fill and refill Oloroso sherry casks, with no bourbon wood used at any stage, and it is bottled without chill filtration. The nose has dried figs, sultanas, dark chocolate and manuka honey, with cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. The palate is full, with toffee apple, raisins and hazelnut, and the finish is long, with toffee, coffee and dark chocolate.
