Tan Cho is a Japanese single malt from the Hakutsuru sake brewery of Nada, which draws on more than 270 years of brewing experience. It is bottled at 55% ABV. The whisky is distilled and matured in eastern Hokkaido. After more than three years in selected casks, it is finished in Mizunara casks. The Mizunara finish gives it a fresh, woodland character that resembles cask-aged taru sake. It is described as semi-sweet.

Tasting Notes

Palate

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
