Rising Reserve No. 2 is a 21 year old Irish single malt from Teeling, the second bottling in its Rising Reserve series. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whiskey matured in ex-bourbon casks and was then finished in Marsala casks. It is a limited edition of 6,000 bottles.
The nose offers sweet vanilla, roasted apricot, spiced fruit, almond and tobacco. The palate is creamy and warm, with brown sugar, stewed fruit, oak tannins and cinnamon. The finish is long and warm, with honey, demerara sugar, citrus and spice.
