Teeling Belgian Ale Casks (Duvel) is a blended Irish whiskey from the Small Batch Series, Volume 2. It was bottled in 2023 at 46% in a 70cl bottle, without chill filtration, in a run of about 6,000 bottles.
The whiskey is finished in casks that previously held Belgian Golden Ale (Duvel), which add subtle notes of malt, citrus and soft spice.
The nose is fresh malt, citrus zest, honey and a light yeast note. The palate is soft and round, with grain, vanilla, light spices and a hint of Belgian ale. The finish is medium, fresh and slightly spicy, with a soft sweetness.
