Teeling Brabazon Bottling Series 01 is an Irish single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 49.5% ABV and non-chill filtered. It is the first release in Teeling's Brabazon series, which explores the influence of wood.
The whiskey is matured entirely in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. The series is named after the Brabazon family of Dublin's Liberties district, home to Teeling's distillery.
The nose is fig jam, dates, molasses and dark berries, with spice, cocoa and roasted hazelnut. The palate is rich and syrupy, with dried fruit, black cherry, treacle and cinnamon. The finish is long and warming, with dark chocolate, red fruit, spice and gentle tannins.
