Teeling Douro Old Vines Casks is an Irish blended whiskey, the fifth release in the Sommelier Selection series, which Teeling makes with wine experts. It was bottled in 2022 at 46% in a 70cl bottle, with around 24,000 bottles released.
The whiskey was finished in red wine casks from old vines in Portugal's Douro Valley.
The nose offers ripe red fruits, cherry, grape and light spice. The palate is round and full, with red fruit, raisins, honey and soft wood. The finish is medium to long, fruity, slightly dry and spicy.
