Teeling Pot Still Rioja Cask is an Irish single pot still whiskey bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It matured in bourbon and new oak casks, then received a finish in ex-Rioja red wine casks.
The wine finish gives it a red-fruit character, with a soft, winey sweetness on the palate.
The nose has red berries, juicy cherries and gentle spice, with honey, vanilla and lightly toasted oak. The palate is creamy and fruity, with ripe raspberries, toasted nuts and subtle spice. The finish is long and warm, with red grapes, light woody spice and a velvety texture.
