Teeling Single Grain is an Irish single grain whiskey matured in Californian Cabernet Sauvignon casks. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle and was named Best Grain Whiskey at the World Whiskies Awards in 2014.
The nose is honeyed apple and red grape, with vanilla, spice, evaporated milk and brown sugar. The palate is light and buttery, with treacle and developing dried cranberry. The finish brings golden syrup tart, sweet egg custard and spicy cereal.
