Teeling Single Grain Irish Whiskey (70cl, 46%)

Teeling Single Grain is an Irish whiskey in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 46% ABV and not chill-filtered. It is made from a mash bill of 95% corn and 5% malted barley and is triple distilled. All of the whiskey is matured in French oak casks that previously held California Cabernet Sauvignon red wine. The nose has spice and fruit over a sweet, sugary note. The palate is silky, with a touch of spice and deep berry flavours balancing the sweetness. The finish is short and dry, with the tannins of the red wine coming through.
