Teeling Single Grain Irish Whiskey (46%)

Teeling Single Grain is an Irish whiskey made from 95% maize and 5% malted barley and distilled in a column still. It is bottled at 46% and is not chill-filtered. The whiskey is matured in Californian red wine casks, which give it spice, red fruit and a dry, lightly tannic finish. The nose is spicy and fruity with a subtle sweetness, and floral hints of vanilla and caramel. The palate is silky and spicy, moving to juicy berries and a little caramel, with a gentle spicy warmth. The finish is short and dry.
