Teeling – Single Malt Irish Whiskey (46%)

Teeling Single Malt is an Irish whiskey from Dublin, bottled at 46%. It marries single malts matured in five kinds of cask: sherry, port, Madeira, white burgundy and Cabernet Sauvignon. The whiskeys in the mix are up to 23 years old. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring. The nose offers ripe peaches and soft caramel over a base of light malt. On the palate, citrus fruits come first, with creamy vanilla and dried fruit, while cinnamon and clove add a gentle spiciness. In the finish, fruit and spice stay present.
