Teeling Single Pot Still is an Irish whiskey from Dublin, bottled at 46% without chill-filtration. The mash bill is half malted and half unmalted barley, and the spirit is triple distilled. It is matured in a combination of virgin oak, ex-wine and ex-bourbon casks.
The nose is fruity, with lemon and other citrus, ripe mango, grapefruit and white grapes. On the palate, strong malt and berries lead, followed by white pepper, then dried apricots, sultanas and figs, with a touch of mint. The finish is long and dry, with wood and leather and a restrained vanilla sweetness.
