Teeling – Small Batch Kyro Rye Gin Finish (70cl, 46%)

This Irish whiskey is part of Teeling's Small Batch Collaboration series, made with the Finnish distillery Kyrö. It spent six years maturing in former bourbon barrels before a finishing period in Kyrö's barrel-aged rye gin casks. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, without chill filtration or colouring, and only 1,500 bottles were produced. The notes run to gin botanicals, rye spice, citrus rind, buttery grain, cinnamon, peach, apple, hay, light white wine and toffee. It is also described as a good choice for cocktails.
