Teeling Stout Cask is an Irish blended whiskey bottled in 2019 at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It was finished in Imperial Stout casks from Galway Bay Brewery (200 Fathoms), one of the Teeling Whiskey Company's earlier collaborations.
The stout casks give a deep, rounded character with toasted notes and a creamy texture, while the whiskey keeps its freshness.
The nose is roasted malt, cocoa, caramel and light coffee. The palate is creamy and full, with chocolate, toffee, soft spices and malty bitterness. The finish is medium to long, warm and slightly dry, with roasted notes.
