Teeling Wonders of Wood First Edition (2021) (70cl, 50%)

Teeling Wonders of Wood First Edition is an Irish single pot still whiskey, bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is the first release in the Wonders of Wood series and a 2021 limited edition. The whiskey was matured entirely in virgin Chinkapin American white oak, which sets it apart from the more usual cask choices. The nose brings warm spices, toasted oak, honey and soft cinnamon. The palate is rich, with toffee, stewed fruit, pepper, caramel and vanilla oak. The finish is long, spicy and creamy.
