Teeling – Wonders of Wood Third Edition Virgin Swedish Oak (70cl, 50%)

This is the third edition of Teeling's Wonders of Wood series, a single pot still Irish whiskey bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The mash is 50% malted and 50% unmalted barley. It was triple distilled in Teeling's Dublin distillery and fully matured in virgin Swedish oak casks. The nose has citrus fruits, hints of caramel and cooked barley. The palate is rich, with herbs, candied ginger, almond and treacle, and the finish brings light black pepper and nutmeg.
