Templeton Fortitude is a bourbon from Indiana, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. Its mash bill is 55% corn, 40% rye and 5% malted barley, and it is aged for at least 5.5 years in charred new American oak. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
Creamy caramel, soft vanilla and a fine spicy note lead on the nose. Rich honey, toasted oak and subtle rye spice follow on the palate, and the long, warm finish balances sweet and spicy tones.
