Templeton Rye 6 Year Old is a rye whiskey made in Indiana from winter and spring rye grains. It is distilled twice and matured in American white oak casks made in Missouri.
In 2010 a small number of selected casks were set aside, and the whiskey was bottled six years later at 91.5 proof.
The brand traces its story to Prohibition-era Templeton, Iowa, where a local maker's rye was known as The Good Stuff.
