Tenjaku Pure Malt (70cl, 43%)

Tenjaku Pure Malt is a Japanese blended malt, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It brings together malt whiskies of different ages, the largest share being five and six years old, matured in heavily used Kentucky bourbon casks. It is chill-filtered and has no added colouring. The nose offers nuts, green apple and fresh herbs with a light touch of smoke. On the palate the spirit is clear and present, with a soft, smooth texture and a slight bitterness. The finish is long and fresh, with vanilla and restrained woody notes.
