Tenuta dell'Ornellaia Bianco 2023 Bolgheri DOC (75cl)

Ornellaia Bianco is the white made alongside the estate's flagship red in Bolgheri, Tuscany. The 2023 is 100% Sauvignon Blanc, and is meant to reflect the sun and sea of the Bolgheri coast. It was a challenging vintage, helped by favourable weather at key moments, with a hot summer that let the grapes ripen gradually. It is bright, light yellow with green nuances. The nose combines exotic fruit, grapefruit peel and peach flower with a subtle note of roasted hazelnut. The palate is generous, with a density that gives roundness, and a refreshing savoury backbone. The finish is enduring, with pronounced minerality.
