This is an 8 year old Islay single malt from That Boutique-y Whisky Co., in a 70cl bottle at 45.8% ABV.
It is a small batch release of around 1,000 litres each time, made from a marriage of refill casks: ex-Bourbon hogsheads and ex-Sherry octaves. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
Peat smoke comes through on the palate, recalling bonfires on a cool coastal evening.
