That Boutique-y Whisky Company Black Gate 3 Year Old

This is a 3 year old single malt from Black Gate, a distillery in New South Wales, Australia. It is the first Black Gate batch to be independently bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company, and Batch 1 is a release of 254 bottles. Black Gate is run by the husband and wife team of Brian and Genise Hollingworth, who also make Australian rum. The whisky is well sherried. The label shows Frankie the dachshund herding emu, along with a lark, a nod to Bill Lark, under whom Brian learned distilling.
