This is batch 3 of Irish single malt #2 from That Boutique-y Whisky Company, matured for 28 years. It is bottled at 50.2% ABV, without chill filtration or added colour, in an edition of 956 bottles. The label shows a panel of judges rejecting Aeneas Coffey's idea, saying they are interested only in Irish coffee. The nose is tropical, with mango, pineapple and ripe papaya, plus chocolate and, after a while, a spiced fruit compote. The palate brings more pineapple, plenty of gentle vanilla, banana and coconut. The finish has ginger, mint, mango and apple.
