The Dalmore 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. It begins in ex-bourbon American oak casks and is then finished in Oloroso sherry butts from Jerez, Spain.
The Dalmore was founded in 1839 on the banks of the Cromarty Firth.
The nose has Seville orange, dark chocolate and aromatic spices. The palate is full-bodied and rounded, with coffee, roasted nuts, sherry-soaked fruit and orange marmalade. The finish is long and warming, with spice, cocoa and soft oak.
