The Dalmore – 12 Year Old Sherry Cask Select Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky (75cl, 43%)

The Dalmore 12 Year Old Sherry Cask Select is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky in a 75cl bottle, bottled at 86 proof. It is matured in casks from three cooperages in Jerez de la Frontera. Each cask is seasoned with a blend of aged Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez wines, a pairing the distillery describes as unseen elsewhere in the industry. The nose is caramelised orange, ginger and sultanas laced with honey. The palate brings dark chocolate and crushed almonds with a dusting of cinnamon, and the finish turns to sweet mango, panna cotta and lemon sponge cake.
