The Dalmore 12 Year Old Sherry Cask Select is a Highland single malt bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The spirit is first matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, then fully finished in casks that held a sherry made especially for The Dalmore, a blend of aged oloroso and sweet Pedro Ximénez.
The nose is warm and spiced, with caramelised orange, ginger, sultana and floral honey. Dark chocolate, black cherries, almonds, cinnamon and clove lead the palate. The finish brings sweet mango, panna cotta, orange peel and lemon sponge, with lingering cacao and coffee.
