The Dalmore 17 Year Old is a Highland single malt from the distillery overlooking the Cromarty Firth. It is bottled at 42% in a 70cl bottle.
The spirit begins its maturation in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels and is then finished in selected sherry casks. The colour is deep amber.
Tasting notes describe a nose of vanilla, honey and citrus peel with dried fruits, toasted oak and cinnamon. The palate brings butterscotch, dark chocolate and dried figs with caramel sweetness, and the finish is long, with cocoa, sweet spice and oak.
