Luminary Nº3 is the 2025 Edition from The Dalmore, a 17 year old Highland single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 49.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, then finished in a combination of casks: vintage Calvados, rare sherry casks and select red wine barriques.
The nose offers fresh fruit with Madagascan vanilla, cinnamon and rosewater. The palate brings butter biscuits, red apples, dark chocolate and liquorice, and the finish turns to roasted peaches, blueberries and freshly baked brioche.
