The Dalmore 18 Year Old is a single malt that draws on extended maturation in two kinds of cask, and is described as bolder than the house style.
The spirit spends its first 14 years in American white oak casks that previously held bourbon. It then moves to 30 year old Matusalem oloroso sherry butts for a further four years.
The sherry butts come from the sherry house Gonzalez Byass and are selected exclusively for The Dalmore.
