The Dalmore 18 Year Old is a Highland single malt bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It begins in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, which give vanilla and honey tones, and is also matured in 30 year old Matusalem Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose shows vanilla, dark chocolate, English marmalade and sweet liquorice. Chocolate raisins, citrus fruits, coffee, nutmeg and spice come through on the palate. The finish is long, with stewed fruits and toffee and a soft, warming edge.
