The Dalmore 18 Year Old Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 43%)

The Dalmore 18 Year Old is a single malt whisky bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It spends its first 14 years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, then moves for a further four years into 30 year old Matusalem oloroso sherry wood. The colour is a rich walnut brown with copper highlights. The nose offers orange, marmalade, cinnamon and nutmeg. On the palate there is dark chocolate, candied citrus fruits, rich coffee, nutmeg and cloves. The finish is long, with citrus fruit, oak and spice.
