This is The Dalmore 2008 15 Year Old, a single malt from the distillery's Vintage Collection, bottled in 2023 at 45.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is naturally coloured and non-chill filtered.
The whisky was matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, then finished in Matusalem Sherry casks and 15 year old Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks.
The nose brings milk chocolate, caramel, mandarin peel and black pepper. On the palate there is Manuka honey, golden sultanas and sweet cacao over poached apples. The finish is soft and warming, with vanilla cream, chocolate brioche, orange peel and chai spice.
