The Dalmore 21 Year Old is the 2023 edition of an annual limited release, and sits at the top of the distillery's Principal Collection. It is finished in 30 year old Matusalem Oloroso sherry casks and bottled at 43.8% in a 70cl bottle.
The aroma is of bitter dark chocolate, ripe Seville oranges, Colombian coffee and toffee apple. The palate brings sweet liquorice, Black Forest fruits, roasted walnuts and thick marzipan. The finish carries ginseng, pear tarte tatin and Sanguinello blood oranges.
