This is the 2022 edition of The Dalmore 21 Year Old, a single malt Scotch whisky.
It was matured in American white oak ex-Bourbon barrels and in first-fill sherry casks that previously held 30 year old Matusalem Oloroso. The sherry casks are hand-selected for Dalmore from the González Byass bodega.
The nose offers bitter dark chocolate, toffee and baked apple. On the palate come black liquorice, roasted walnuts and sweet marzipan.
