The Dalmore – King Alexander III Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky (75cl, 40%)

The Dalmore King Alexander III is a Highland single malt bottled at 40% ABV, in a 75cl bottle. It is described as the first single malt finished in six different casks. Ex-bourbon casks, Matusalem oloroso sherry casks, Madeira barrels, Marsala casks, Port pipes and Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques each contribute their own flavours before the whisky is combined. The nose is typically described as red berry fruits, fresh flowers and hints of passion fruit. The palate shows citrus zest, vanilla pod, creme caramel and crushed almonds, and the finish brings sweet cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger.
