The Dalmore King Alexander III is a Highland single malt bottled at 40% ABV, here in a 100ml bottle.
Its distinction lies in six different cask finishes: ex-bourbon casks, Matusalem oloroso sherry casks, Madeira barrels, Marsala casks, Port pipes and Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques. Each cask type contributes its own flavours before the whisky is combined.
The nose brings red berry fruits, fresh flowers and hints of passion fruit. The palate shows citrus zest, vanilla pod, creme caramel and crushed almonds, and the finish is sweet with cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger.
