The Dalmore Luminary No. 2 is a limited Highland single malt in a 75cl bottle at 97.2 proof, created by Dalmore Master Whisky Maker Gregg Glass with Melodie Leung of Zaha Hadid Architects. The case echoes the Luminary No.2 Rare sculpture, with warm copper colours inspired by the stills. The whisky is matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, then finished in Graham's Tawny Port pipes and 30 year old Apostoles sherry casks, with a light touch of rare peated Dalmore. The nose has Manuka honey, crème brûlée, antique leather and tropical fruit. The palate brings ripe figs, Seville oranges and roasted coffee. The finish carries chestnuts, dark cacao and a whisper of herbal wood smoke.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
