The Dalmore Select Edition 2009 is a 15 year old Highland single malt from the 2009 vintage, released in 2024 in a 70cl bottle as part of the Select Editions collection.
It was first matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, then finished in hand-selected Matusalem sherry casks and pipes that held Graham's 10 Year Old Tawny Port. It is bottled at 48.9% ABV, with natural colour and without chill filtration.
The nose brings Manuka honey, dark plum, black pepper and clove. On the palate are Morello cherries, dates, candied Seville orange, fresh figs and cacao. The finish is rich plum with ginger cake, roasted chestnuts and gentle wood spice.
