The Dalmore The Trio is a Highland single malt finished in three different casks: ex-bourbon, tawny port and Matusalem sherry. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is full of tart and citrus fruit, with dried cranberries, orange peel and cherry chocolate. On the palate it stays fruity, with red berry compote and stewed plums, leathery oak, creamy barley and buttery biscuits.
The finish brings woody aniseed and clove, balanced by silky caramel and plenty of oak vanilla.
