The Dalmore – Vintage 2003 (2022 Edition) (46.9%)

The Dalmore Vintage 2003 is the 2022 edition of a single malt drawn from casks chosen once a year, in November, by the distillery's whisky makers in its old dunnage warehouses. Only a few casks are picked for the Vintage bottling. The whisky began in bourbon casks, then had a second maturation in red Rivesaltes wine casks, Matusalem and Amoroso sherry casks, and small batch bourbon casks. It is bottled at 46.9%. The nose offers Manuka honey, dark toffee and dried vanilla pods. Warm honey, maple syrup and dark fruit lead the palate, and the finish brings honey, marmalade and sweet spices.
