This is a 2006 vintage single malt from The Dalmore, bottled at 47.2% ABV. It was matured in first-fill American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, then finished in two kinds of 30-year-old sherry cask: Matusalem oloroso and Amoroso.
The Matusalem casks bring dark chocolate, rich berries and wood spice. The Amoroso casks add sherry-soaked raisins and slightly drier, more aromatic, almost herbal notes.
