The Dubliner Beer Cask Series pairs Irish whiskey with craft beer, and this limited edition is a collaboration between The Dubliner Distillery and O'Hara's Brewery. The whiskey was matured further in casks that previously held O'Hara's Irish Stout, and is bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
On the nose there is malt, dark chocolate, light hop bitterness, caramel and a hint of roasted grain. The palate is smooth and round, with toffee, chocolate malt, vanilla, light coffee and hints of stout. The finish is medium long, warm and slightly sweet, with a touch of roasted barley.
