This is an 11 year old Glenrothes, a Speyside single malt matured entirely in sherry casks and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail at 43%. It comes from the independent bottler's Discovery range, which has three main flavour profiles: sherry, bourbon and peated.
The flavours are rich and concentrated: black fruits, candied grapes, citrus and spices. On the nose it is fruity and sherried, with red berries, honey and citrus fruit.
