This is an independent bottling of Speyside single malt Scotch whisky from Glenrothes, drawn from a single cask at 54.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was distilled in May 1997 and left to mature until January 2016, when it was bottled for the Mackillop's Choice range. The outturn was 270 bottles.
On the nose it is soft and mature, with butterscotch and saffron. The palate is round and gently sweet, with saffron, ripe banana and spicy oak, leading to a sweet finish with some fruity spice.
