The Glenrothes 40 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, matured in cask since December 1978. The spirit was made in copper stills that were retired soon afterwards, so this particular whisky cannot be made again.
It was created over four decades, and only 594 bottles have been filled.
