The Gospel Solera Rye is an Australian rye whiskey from The Gospel distillery in Melbourne, sold in a 70cl bottle. It is made from 100% unmalted rye grown on a single farm in the Murray Mallee region of South Australia, and it is double distilled.
The spirit is aged in a five-tiered solera system holding new American oak, second fill American oak and Australian red wine barrels.
It is described as having deep, spicy flavours of vanilla, cinnamon and dried fruit, with pepper, grass and grain developing.
