The Gospel Solera Rye is an Australian rye whiskey in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 42% ABV. It is made from 100% Australian single-sourced rye grain.
It is aged in The Gospel's bespoke five-tiered solera system, which combines new American oak, second-fill American oak and Australian red wine barrels. The result is an American-style rye with a soft, smooth manner.
The nose offers baking spices and rich caramel. Sweet oak orchard fruits and dark toffee follow on the palate, leading to a long, rich finish.
