The Irishman 12 Year Old is a triple-distilled Irish single malt, made from a mash bill of Irish barley alone.
It matured for a minimum of 12 years in first-fill, flame-charred Bourbon casks and is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose combines vanilla, cinnamon and a touch of clove with apples, pears, charred wood and freshly cut hay. On the palate, vanilla and black pepper give way to a juicy fruit middle. The finish lingers with barley and oak, creamy fudge and dark chocolate.
