The Irishman Cask Strength Irish Whiskey 2022 Release (70cl, 54.9%)

This is the 2022 release of The Irishman Cask Strength, an Irish whiskey bottled by Walsh Whiskey at 54.9% in a 70cl bottle. It is a mix of single malt and single pot still whiskeys. The Irishman Cask Strength is an annual small batch release, and the 2022 edition ran to just over 6000 bottles worldwide. Founder Bernard Walsh chooses the casks for each edition personally. The nose brings green apple and pear with cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. On the palate there is sweet apple blossom, wild honeycomb and nutty spice, and the finish carries walnut, chocolate and toasted oak.
